Terms and Conditions

In connection with participation in the online escape room experience, organised by Cloak and Dagger Games Ltd (Company number: 15635715, Registered address: Moat House Farm, Southminster road, Mayland, ESSEX, CM3 6EE) and/ or use of Cloak and Dagger Games property, amenities and services, I agree the following on behalf of myself, and any participants under the age of 18 for which I am responsible.

GAME PREPERATION:

I agree to download the zoom video conferencing software prior to playing on desktop computer, laptop, or tablet devices. I acknowledge that mobile phones can be used but are not recommended due to their screen size.

I agree to join my game 15 minutes before the start time of my booking to allow for any joining problems, and to allow the Gamemaster time to go through the rules and instructions.

I agree that my game will be cancelled if I do not arrive within the 10 minute grace period allowed from the confirmed start time of my booking, and that I will not be refunded.

I agree to have my camera and mic turned on for the duration of the game.

I allow Cloak and Dagger Games to record my game for safety purposes, under the acknowledgement that all recordings are deleted within 24 hours of completed bookings.

 

ZOOM (VIDEO CONFERENCING SOFTWARE):

I acknowledge that by agreeing to play I am signed up to Zoom T&C’s and the business account held by Cloak and Dagger Games Ltd.

 

LISTENING TO INSTRUCTIONS:

I agree to listen and follow (and ensure that any junior participants listen and follow) instructions from Cloak and Dagger Games Gamemasters at all times. The instructions that are given by the Cloak and Dagger Gamemasters will include, but are not limited to, the agenda of the remote experience, rules of the remote experience, and health and safety instructions. If any of these instructions are not followed, Cloak and Dagger Games reserves the right to stop my, or any junior participants remote experience without refund.

 

BEHAVIOUR:

I acknowledge that Cloak and Dagger Games reserves the right to stop gameplay for any participant: (a) who is clearly intoxicated, (b) who is abusive to Cloak and Dagger Games staff, (c) whose actions could (in Cloak and Dagger Games opinion) upset or disturb other players or Cloak and Dagger Games staff. The decision to refuse participation will be entirely at the discretion and judgment of the Cloak and Dagger Games Gamemaster and will result in the participant forfeiting their costs of entry.

I agree to not take any videos or photos for the duration of the briefing, game play, and post briefing.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

I agree that if I do not request to cancel or move my booking within the 12-hour cancellation period I will not be refunded.

I agree that if I do not turn up to my game I will not be refunded.

 

LEGAL STATEMENT AND YOUR PRIVACY:

I agree to indemnify Cloak and Dagger Games against any claims, damages, costs, or expenses, including legal fees that may in any way arise from the use of, or presence of, me or any junior participants whilst participating in Cloak and Dagger Games online experience.

Any legal claims that may arise from participation in the remote experience shall be resolved in accordance with English law.

Any data you provide us will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

 

By accepting these terms you are also confirming that:

• You are aged 18 or over.

• You are responsible for any person under the age of 18.

• You, as the booker, are responsible for sharing our terms and conditions to all other participants, and their agreement to our terms.

• If this booking is for a corporate event, you are completing this waiver on behalf of your company and colleagues playing.
